Kongressbericht INHSU 2018: Auf dem Weg zur Eliminierung
C. Bernardini, P. Bruggmann
Abstract aus Suchtmedizin:
INHSU-Kongress in Cascais, Portugal.
English Version:
Elimination of viral hepatitis C among people who use drugs and how this can be achieved was the major topic at the 7. INHSU conference in Cascais, Portugal. Increasing numbers of attendees and rising quality and amount of scientific contributions show the enhanced importance of this hepatitis C population on the way to achieve the global WHO elimination goal. The steady increase of the level of evidence supports the efforts to improve the care situation, in both the political and the medical field. Without such an improvement, an elimination of hepatitis C will not be feasible, according to a conclusion of the conference.
